As the end of the year is coming up, school is becoming crazier and more hectic, not only for the students but also for the administration. Mrs Pinnt, the school secretary here at Palisade High School, shares about the upcoming events and the chaos that comes with the end of the year. Mrs Pinnt states, “I am feeling very stressed, but also excited, and in the process of getting ready for another one. The craziest thing that comes with the end of the year is definitely graduation.” Mrs Pinnt and the Principal, Mr Bolinger, work alongside stuco to process the plan for graduation. She states, “We discuss bacaloriate, the graduation itself, and the program. As well as making sure everybody is going to have everything they need, and with that, I have hopefully just finished the graduation program.” As the seniors are getting ready to leave, the office is preparing for the new freshmen who are to come next year. Mrs Pinnt explains, “We had freshman orientation this last week, and that went really well. The new freshman class is a great group of kids who are very excited for next year.” She continues with, “It is always really busy yet still exciting with it being the end of the year. And I can’t wait to see the kids who graduate and move on to their new chapter, but it also becomes emotional at times.” As a school secretary, there really is no free time, and just like a principal, Mrs Pinnt works all summer long. Mrs Pinnt states, “Even thought its summer, I am here year-round, so even Christmas break, Thanksgiving break, spring break, and all of the kids’ days off. I am in charge of getting the beginning of the school year ready to go, I get the calendar going and registration, along with budgeting.” Mrs Pinnt works 10 hours a day, Monday through Friday. As the school year winds down, it starts to become relieving, but not for long.

Sophia Rish, Staff Writer
Hello! My name is Sophia Rish, also known as Rish. I am a Sophomore, and this is my first year in Newspaper as a staff writer. As this is my first year, I am excited to learn more about the school and writing stories. Outside of school, I enjoy gymnastics, golf, pickleball, fishing, traveling, being outdoors, baking, and spending time with the people I love. I am very devoted to the sport of gymnastics. I have been a gymnast for 11 years, and it keeps me very busy. I am also very steadfast in my relationship with Jesus Christ and do all things to glorify the Lord. I am so excited for this year and can’t wait to be a part of the Palisade Paw Post!
