As the school year draws to a close, the Student Council is entering one of its busiest periods. With seniors approaching graduation and SAT testing scheduled for next week, the council aims to ensure that the final weeks are memorable for the class of 2026.
Junior Alexis Lopez, a Student Council member at large, described upcoming events for seniors. She stated, “This Saturday, on April 11th, at 7:00-10:00 PM, we are hosting Prom, with the theme Steal the Night Away, which is based on a museum heist. Were planning on decorating with gems, diamonds, and paintings.” Lopez aims to make Prom memorable and hopes attendees enjoy their experience.
As Lopez speaks on the upcoming events, Stuco president and senior Ian Shiao talks about current events going on for our Palisade graduates. Stating, “We’re currently in the middle of senior assassin, which is pretty fun. We have an $800 prize pool, which is honestly super cool and a lot bigger than last year’s. Currently, Lila Landcaster and Tristian Brinton are winning with 600 points.” Ian, being a senior himself, hopes that seniors at Palisade can really enjoy their last few weeks, and recommends that seniors participate in as much activites as possible in order to really get the full experience.
