On April 1st another student was chosen to be Student of the Week and that was given to Junior Adyn Cassity. Adyn Cassity is more than just a student; he is a student athlete who plays football and lacrosse.
Cassity said, “It feels really good to be chosen. I try my hardest to be a good student and an overall person, so I’m very grateful.” This shows how Cassity is a good representative to be chosen for this title because of his work ethic given and shown as a Palisade student. Cassity also states “ I feel like I have a strong connection with everyone at Palisade. I’m really grateful to be a part of Palisade. Since it’s not the biggest school in the valley, it feels like everyone can build closer connections, and the staff can really help students succeed.” Cassity shows his school pride by showing up to school everyday with a smile and positive attitude so Cassity being elected this for the week is good to represent Palisade High School. “There’s also a lot of school spirit, and people try to make everyone feel like they belong.I think I was chosen because of my attitude. I try to stay positive, bring others up, and make the best out of every day. I like putting smiles on people’s faces, and I think my connection with staff helps too.” His commitment to uplifting others and contributing to the school community highlights why he stands out among his friends and continues to make a meaningful impact at Palisade.
Cassity’s positivity, dedication, and genuine care for the people around him makes him a standout member of the Palisade community. His recognition as Student of the Week reflects not only his hard work, but also the impact he has on those around him. As he continues to grow as both a student and an athlete, Cassity is a strong example of what it means to be a Bulldog.
