Third quarter and second semester is coming to an end at Palisade High School, meaning we are getting closer and closer to spring break, graduation, and schedule making for next year. With the end of the school year just around the corner, there are some important things that seniors, and some others should be aware of.
Our counselors at PHS provide information and important details for seniors along with all the other grades as well. One of the counselors Mrs. Steves says, “Seniors need to make sure they have ordered their cap and gown if they haven’t done so already. I also recommend looking at the Google Classroom for seniors with all the information about scholarships. This is mostly preparation stuff so we can help you guys as much as possible before graduation and college.” As graduation approaches, seniors should make sure to have these things done so that they are prepared.
As for juniors and sophomores, after spring break schedules will start being made. Mrs. Steves also mentions, “We have more stuff coming up after spring break. We’ll start with rising seniors then juniors and then sophomores. We will be doing presentations to let you guys know what you need to do class wise in order to graduate. You will be given time to make your schedule, you don’t have to register until April 13, 2026 so there will be a gap of time in between things and we will make sure everyone knows how to register those.” So, with that being said sophomores need to start thinking about classes they either want to take or need to take.
