Ghostface returns to stir up horror in Scream 7 as it releases on Friday February 27th. Scream 7 brings back big actors and actresses such as Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and rumors of Mathew Lillard. Scream 7 follows a new Ghostface as they try to hunt down Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). Prescott’s worst nightmare arises when she realizes her daughter is the target. Prescott needs to group up with others, such as Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) to face her history and defeat Ghostface.
Ryan Davis, a junior at Palisade Highschool, has watched all the Scream series and plans on seeing the new one. Davis worriedly comments, “I’m afraid it’s going to be the same thing, they changed out the characters so it will be different, and it’s always going to be some random person who’s the killer.” Davis on the other hand has mixed feelings about the characters returning. When told Prescott is making a return, Davis said, “Oh is she? I’m watching it in theaters as soon as possible.” But when told Stu Macher is rumored to be returning Davis responded with “So he’s just coming back to life? This doesn’t seem like Scream anymore.” Although Davis is a fan, he states, “7 is a lucky number, so might as well stop at 7.” Davis was asked about any character deaths he would be sad to see, he quickly responded with “Gale Weathers, I think she might die in this movie.” Davis ends with, “Go see it in theaters.”
Many fans are excited to check out the new Scream movie and see how the plot thickens. Scream 7 made over $90 million in the box office opening weekend and $64 million globally, setting a new franchise record as the most successful in the box office. For a scary good time this week, go see the new Scream movie in theaters!
