Ten minutes with the admin is a bi-weekly story in the newspaper highlighting Palisades’ new or upcoming updates, told from the administration. This week, Mr. Borgemann was interviewed about new changes to the school, anything he wants the students to know, and upcoming events. Mr. Borgemann then spoke out and said, “ Some up-and-coming events or major events that have happened here at Palisade would be. Senior Night on the 3rd of February for Girls and Boys basketball, then there is senior night for wrestling on the fifth, then there are also wrestling regionals and basketball playoffs coming up shortly.” Some things to take from that are Senior Night for the wrestling team, which is where seniors on the wrestling team will be rewarded in front of everybody who attends this event. Also, another event to take out is the wrestling Regionals. The wrestling Regionals will be held on Saturday, the 7th, in Gunnison at 10 pm. If you are on the edge if you should start going to or attending Palisades school events or not here is what Mr.Bollinger has to say, “ If you are a Palisade High school student I feel like one of the most important things you can do is attend school events because not only will they help you as a student feel more of a belonging to Palisade but it really shows support for our school or our teams here and we need lots of support when it comes to school activities it just brings us all together as a community.”
If you haven’t yet, thank your school administration for all they have done for your school, and definitely check out getting more involved in school activities.
