Palisade Bulldogs congratulate the girls who were selected for Softball’s team 1st All Conference. The girls selected were Junior Jamyson Mancuso, and Freshman Lexi Trottier, with an outstanding performance this season. They have brought their team to numerous victories, and gained notice from head coaches. Mancuso has a deep connection with her sport and gives her thoughts about what she feels that not everyone can understand. “Nobody knows how mentally challenging it is to make mistakes and how much that can affect our team and growth.” Mancuso also states her challenges that she had to overcome during this season; “Playing a whole new position is definitely my biggest challenge, they put me at 3rd base this year when I was normally play 1st base in prior years. Having to overcome that made it challenging. I had to put more practice, effort, and learn to play the position.” Mancuso shows her work ethic, and how devoted she is to the game.
Trottier was also another crucial player for Palisade’s softball team, showing her skills and proving to coaches and others that she can dominate in game. “I remind myself why I’m playing at such a high level and what I can do on the field.” Trottier then states, “Mental challenges were really challenging for me this year, but with the help of my friends and teammates I pushed through it and developed into the person I am today.” Lexi Trottier and Jamyson Mancuso are very impressive in their sport and show why they deserve to be in the spot that they are in now, Congratulations Palisade Bulldogs!
