The Palisade High School girls’ soccer team is indisputably dominating the field with their remarkable 8-1-1 record, reflecting their unwavering dedication, strategic prowess, and unyielding teamwork. From the game’s opening minutes, the Palisade team displayed unparalleled skill and coordination, swiftly taking control of the field with their strategic ball control, precise passes, and aggressive offensive maneuvers. The victory was not merely a product of individual talent but a resounding testament to the teamwork and mutual support that defines the Palisade team. The resounding 8-0 victory is a testament to the unwavering dedication, exceptional skill, and teamwork that define the Palisade High School girls’ soccer team. Mia Devillegas scored three goals and assisted two other goals. Keylei and Taylor Balding both scored two as well as Kate Fricke who also scored one! The triumph of the Palisade team not only speaks volumes about their exceptional athletic capabilities but is a vivid testament to the power of unity, commitment, and unwavering determination.

We talked to Taylor Balding, a Junior at Palisade about the performance and she said “The game on Tuesday was a redeeming moment for our program. Coming off of our first loss of the season, we knew what we needed to do and we took care of it. Bad games happen, but we just prepared even harder for this one because we had something to prove to ourselves. We had great movement up top from our forwards and our midfield did a good job connecting as well as working to create opportunities on and off the ball. Our defenders also took the opportunity to possess the ball and look to connect and break lines through our midfield. Moving forward, we are looking to continue to build off of our previous games and begin to focus on playing at a level ready for playoffs. This means being better every single day we have the opportunity. Thursday we travel to play Glenwood again and are excited to continue to compete at a high level.” As they continue to carve their path through the soccer season with steely resolve, the Palisade High School girls’ soccer team embodies athletic excellence, team spirit, and the relentless pursuit of success on and off the field. The unparalleled success of the Palisade High School girls’ soccer team serves not only as a source of inspiration for their fellow students but also as a compelling narrative of dedication, skill, and unwavering teamwork that will undoubtedly leave a profound mark on the legacy of high school soccer at Palisade High.
