Mia Devillegas scored three goals and assisted two other goals. Keylei and Taylor Balding both scored two as well as Kate Fricke who also scored one! We talked to Taylor Balding, a Junior at Palisade about the performance and she said “The game on Tuesday was a redeeming moment for our program. Coming off of our first loss of the season, we knew what we needed to do and we took care of it. Bad games happen, but we just prepared even harder for this one because we had something to prove to ourselves. We had great movement up top from our forwards and our midfield did a good job connecting as well as working to create opportunities on and off the ball. Our defenders also took the opportunity to possess the ball and look to connect and break lines through our midfield. Moving forward, we are looking to continue to build off of our previous games and begin to focus on playing at a level ready for playoffs. This means being better every single day we have the opportunity.
