The Bulldogs after the game

The Palisade Bulldogs football team takes on Golden High School at the School Of Mines college. The Bulldogs played this game on  September 22nd at 7pm. The Bulldogs started this game by receiving the kick at the beginning of the game. The Bulldogs had a positive drive on offense. They showed determination and toughness running the ball. Junior Keden Everett really showed his triple threat offense by being able to run the ball as a quarterback. The first half Defense was the highlight. The aggression was showcased and was brought down on Golden’s offense.

Junior Easton Embrey had a really good game on defense he had a total of 5 deflections from playing cornerback. Overall communication was amazing. The first half ended 6-13 Golden. The Bulldogs kicked off for the second half. Defense kept holding either for a turnover or for a forced field goal attempt. The offensive lineup picked up and started to be even more dominant than they already were. Senior Marcus Royster had a huge highlight play from catching a 31 yard touchdown pass. Also credit to the quarterback Keden Everett for a very accurate pass. Definitely a highlight of the season.

We had an opportunity to interview a couple of players from the defensive back field. The players did really well in pass protection “we had amazing communication and aggression” said by Senior Marcus Royster. The Aggression was definitely a sight from the Bulldogs. “We did really well maintaining our confidence and bouncing back from our minimal errors” said by Junior Easton Embrey. Having a strong mindset while in tough situations is always a key thing in the sport of football. The Bulldogs take on Evergreen for the homecoming game. The game is on the 29th of September at 8pm. We hope to see you Bulldogs there!
