Our Palisade Bulldog cheerleading team headed off to the State competition in Denver performing on December 11th in the 4a category. Palisade’s cheerleading team cheers and cheers for all of our sports events football, basketball and volleyball.
Senior Bailey Allen states “We all had so much fun and had a good experience” cheering in Denver at the coliseum against 57 or more teams. These Palisade girls worked hard and showed determination and teamwork to show off their skills in front of many more cheerleaders by waking up for practice everyday at 5am! Allen also states, “It was exciting to see everyone perform and for everyone else to see us perform. We worked hard and it was good to show that off to everyone. Even, though we lost we still tried our best and that’s what counts more than anything.” All these girls being able to perform in a filled coliseum is bravery and most people wouldn’t be able to do it. However these girls did it and represented us palisade dogs about being determined, persistent and overall a good student athleticism to be able to be cheering and doing school at the same time. Allen lastly states, “As a senior, I am sad that this is my last year to be able to cheer with this team, this team was positive and hardworking but I am glad I was able to be a part of a team like us and move on happily and have this in my memories.” Palisade Bulldogs cheerleading team show us all the love and support for our school events so show them love and support at there events and cheer for them like they cheer for us!
