We are officially in the seventh week of school and things are finally going back to normal. With that, many other things are getting started and students need to stay informed. The Counselors Corner helps with that because students have easy access to important information. School counselor Jonathan Burke says, “The Counselors Corner gives us a chance to communicate directly with students and parents about upcoming events including different college occasions like trips, and things like financial aid” The Counselors Corner is not only beneficial for students but parents as well.
Next week, seniors are getting the chance to put together college applications. On October 25th, there is going to be a Colorado Western Slope College Fair. This fair is more directed for Seniors around the county to explore college opportunities. There are many Colleges that will be attending from all of the United States. There are many interactive workshops such as financial aid, student athletic recruiting, STEM and other arts. For more information, there are fliers in the Counselors Corner.
