This week Apple, one of the biggest phone companies, revealed their new iPhone, with 4 different phones, which come in many different versions and colors. The lineup starts with the basic iPhone 17, which is priced affordably at $799, just $100 more than the previous year’s iPhone 16. Next up is the 17 Pro at $1,099 which according to Apple, was built for “Ultimate performance and battery life”, similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max which is priced at $1,199. With the price of the phone it comes with 39 hours of video playback, which is 9 hours more than the iPhone 17, 6.9 inch display, and much more.
My team decided to ask Junior Alex Mediano about his thoughts on the iPhone 17. Mediano states “I think we’ve come a long way from the old iPhones, even the 15 to 17 is a huge upgrade. I think they are doing well with it, especially with the new improvements in technology.” Mediano adds on “they should focus more on the quality and protection of the phone, I don’t want to drop it and have the entire screen shatter. Androids have way better quality when it comes to protecting the phone.” The quality of the iPhones have been a big topic every year when it comes to their release, but this year they changed the material again with this time, Aluminum, apart from the new iPhone Air. This new iPhone is the slimmest yet, with a depth of 5.64 mm (0.22 in). This phone is also equipped with the new A19 Pro chip, up to 27 hours of video playback and Apple Intelligence. All of these phones are sent with 256GB, and a charging cable for the price of $999. If you wish to get yourself an iPhone 17, or any other iPhone, most usually go on sale for Black Friday.
