This year is one of Palisades High School teachers last year teaching. Mr. Kennedy has been here for a long time, he is one of the longest teachers that have been here. Kennedy has been loved by many and people are sad to see him go. Kennedy has given so much to the school and has spent most of his life here, as he has grown he has also watched PHS grow as a school. We appreciate him and everything he has done here for 29 years. He first started teaching here in 1996.
As it being his final year, Kennedy states, “My last year has gone okay because I have four freshman classes and freshman aren’t always the best. I am for sure going to miss Palisade but its time. I will miss the teachers and the funniest people here.”
Working here for that long of a time, he has seen ups and downs. Having to deal with the struggles of what his students are dealing with in the moment. But he continues to states these as, “rewarding moments feel the best”.
Before every class Kennedy greets them with a welcoming smile and is such a happy person to have class with. He ends each class before the weekend with the same statement “Watch out for teenage drivers” a he gives that advice for future upcoming freshman.
Thank you Mr. Kennedy for all you have done we appreciate you, you’ll be missed Congratulation on your retirement!
