Hard working athlete Sophomore Jacob Snodgrass got student of the week for the palisade paw post, he has been recognized for always being on task and always helping others out. Teachers and students will gladly tell you how helpful and how good of leadership he has.
Even though he is only a Sophomore he has some advice for the future lower classmen. Snodgrass states, “For being a good student just pay attention and get your work done on time in your classes.” Not only has Snodgrass shown how hard he works in his classes he also loves to wrestle outside and inside of school, and highlights how some of his best moments of the year have been on the wrestling mats. Snodgrass even states, “Wrestling season for sure since freshman year it’s always been my favorite.”
Snodgrass’s hard work will continue for the next two years at Palisade High School. He is even trying to achieve goals. His main one before graduation is, “Becoming a state champ in wrestling for Palisade is a big goal.” Not only was he nominated but his friends were all encouraging of it as they all agree he deserves Student of the Week with how focused he is in class and how much work he gets done. Yes, Snodgrass is on task with his grades but it can sometimes be a struggle trying to balance both grades and a full time sport. He exclaims, “Keeping grades up while playing sports is a hard thing to do but I stay on it.” Which is a great example of why he is nominated as Student of the Week.
Congratulations Snodgrass for making Student of the Week, don’t stop the great work!
