On Friday September 14, 2024 Palisade High School held their traditional Homecoming Parade! Sports and clubs like FBLA and FCCLA and our very own newspaper created floats and creatively decorated them so they could represent their club, sport, or class. Having a parade like this is a very proud tradition for Palisade since it shows a bunch of students that represent and embody Palisade High School. This parade also showed our different types of kings and queens for Homecoming, Spirit Week, and more who were waving to the crowd like royalty. Here’s one of FBLA’s vice president Annalisa Bradley who talks about the experience of creating a float and being a part of it. Bradley states, “I feel like it was really fun, it was really fun to put it all together and include different ideas into how it should look.” She explains, “I really liked it a lot. I feel like our club really had a lot of support, especially within the members participating.”
Having to make this happen is such a wonderful experience and proud moment for us Bulldogs to share to show our school spirit and pride to the rest of the community once again. Bradley states how it was to represent as one of the members in FBLA during the parade. She says, “I thought it was really fun and it felt like it gained us a lot of support within the new students who aren’t sure on which clubs to join.”
That’s it for today Bulldogs, hope you guys have a wonderful day and make sure to come and join us on our next year’s homecoming parade.
