Cheer Banquet

This past week the cheer team at Palisade High school had their end of season banquet. They got to celebrate and look back at how their cheer season went. The cheer team lasts almost all year and they go to spread team spirit at all the games they can.The cheer team practices everyday at five thirty in the morning before school so it takes a lot of dedication to be on the cheer team. I talked to one of three boys on the team Adrian about how he felt about the banquet.“The banquet for me was a lot of fun. We ate first and the food was great, then we spent the rest of the time just talking and spending time together as a team. To me it was a very fun time.” The banquet seemed like a great way for the team to bond outside of practices and performances. Where they went, “Warehouse 25” is located between American furniture warehouse and Mesa fitness center on Maldonado street.Warehouse 25 is a restaurant that has live music and a bar. The warehouse has many local bands like Neon sky band and Aaron Goodvin. So what better place to have a banquet.The cheer team this year did a lot of hard work and had some amazing performances during games and assemblies. Go check them out on their social media.
