Band teacher, Mr. Marshall.

We are so excited to welcome our new band teacher to PHS, Mr. Marshall! He’s been working for 8 years at Caprock Academy and just moved here this year. He came to Palisade after seeing our school culture. He’s always liked being in band. He states, “It’s one of my favorite things to do, and I get to do band all day so it’s pretty nice.”

He’s been in band since high school, so he has a lot of experience. He even helped start the Maverick Stampede, the marching band at CMU. He hopes to continue student success and he hopes to gain even more experience. He stated, “I hope to adhere myself to the culture here at Palisade High School.” In his free time, he likes to go on the river and he likes to golf. Since he hears music all day, he isn’t much of a music person. He states, “I forget to turn on my radio when I drive home.” This Friday, his band has an act at the football game. When asked what he’s most excited about, he replied, “I’m most looking forward to seeing the kids out on the field, performing the show that we’ve been working on since July. I think that’s when it will set in, that I work here at Palisade.”

Welcome, Mr. Marshall to the family! His students have been enjoying him so far, let’s hope he has a great first year. Have a great year bulldogs!

Hey guys! My name is Joey and I am a Junior this year. This is my third year being a part of the Palisade Paw Post and my second year as advertising manager. A little bit about myself is that I love to be outside, either paddleboarding, hiking, or enjoying the sunset. I also teach and play tennis. My number one goal in life is to devote myself more and more to our Lord Jesus Christ. I am excited for another great year in the Palisade Paw Post!
