President of El Salvador

President of El Salvador

President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, won his reelection to the position of president on Sunday, February 4. President Nayib won by a tremendous advantage, obtaining 85% of the votes and becoming president for 5 more years. Furthermore, his party, New Ideas, has also swept the Legislative Assembly, where it will have 58 of the 60 deputies, always according to the president’s data. This allows him to continue for as long as he wants with the emergency regime which has dismantled the gangs and sent more than 70,000 people to prison. His followers celebrated the victory in the streets, waving flags and stopping traffic. The starry sky of San Salvador was illuminated by fireworks. It was no surprise that Nayib will win these elections since at 42 years old he has reduced the cases of homicides and extortions by 70%. El Salvador has suddenly stopped being one of the most violent countries thanks to the new rules that Nayib has put in this country. This makes him the most beloved president of El Salvador of all time. President Nayib felt very excited and happy that he had been elected president again. He said these words of emotion and happiness: “Thank you to all the people for voting for me again and I am very proud to be able to be your president again. A project has never won by as many votes as what happened this day…. It is literally the highest percentage in all of history, it is the difference between first and second place in all of history”. I got to congratulate the president for winning by a spectacular amount of votes
