On Tuesday, October 2nd, 24 FBLA held a fantastic fundraiser where they sold both Krispy Kreme donuts and hot chocolate. It was held before school and during lunch. One donut cost $2, a cup of hot chocolate for $1.50, and for a combo which was both hot chocolate and a donut, cost $3. It was such a fun experience for FBLA and Palisade High School students who got to share this sugary goodness. FBLA members Jace Carter and Ian Robison stated, “It was a lot of fun and we made a lot of profits. We went to the Krispy Kreme in Denver and ordered 60 dozen donuts with a mix between glazed, chocolate, and chocolate with sprinkles.” FBLA’s fundraiser was such a smash that they sold out of all those donuts in a day’s time. Robison states, “We sold them from about 7:30 till 8:00 before school and then during lunch, and 60 dozen donuts sold out.” This is a new edition for FBLA since now they have more of a chance to go to nationals and state with the money that they earned from that fundraiser even though they decreased from the original price of one donut. Carter and Robison state, “We are actually saving people money because at Krispy Kreme’s it was $2.30 per donut but we sold them for $2. It was definitely our most profitable fundraiser, and it’s going to allow us to have a lot more profits.”
Thanks to FBLA for making this fundraiser and giving us this sweet treat for the day. We wish you guys good luck and can’t wait to see more of those fundraisers.
