Texas and Florida are concerned with the fact that certain companies like Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok can silence and choose what the public is allowed to see as people may not be hearing the whole story. So Texas and Florida are trying to create laws that take away the possibility for social media companies to control the news. But the problem isn’t their freedom of speech to say what they want? They are not forced to have another opinion on a subject. But isn’t it fair for people to make their own opinions on the news?
