Futures Of The Week Award Goes To Saige Sparks

The Futures Of The Week Award goes to Saige Starks. Stark was nominated by Ms. Green the director for the Futures Program for Starks dedication and commitment into the Police Academy. Starks is taking courses in the Police Academy here at Palisade to further her education in criminal justice. Starks hopes to become a detective in the future and to accomplish this goal, Starks is taking early steps by taking the Futures Program and going above and beyond to pursue her dream. After being nominated Starks said, “Pretty happy, ego boost to be honest. I try to be energetic in class”. This demonstrates Stark’s excitement for receiving the Futures of the Week Award and is proud that her work and commitment is being recognized and is getting a spotlight on the Paw Post. Starks manages her workload by always doing homework or extra research whenever she gets the time she can. “We don’t have that class on Fridays so during 6th and 7th period I work on homework or work on future projects”. This shows Starks dedication to reaching her goal and taking the early steps to getting a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Stark’s drive for success in the police academy gives Starks her reputation for being dedicated and focused on accomplishing her goals. This award is an example of Stark’s hard work in getting a head start in her future career and working hard and showing passion for her goals.
