On September 26th, the Palisade Bulldogs played their first football game on Friday night against one of our biggest rivals; Central High School. Stocker stadium was packed, and the student section was loud and full of energy. It was a fun and exciting fast action game to watch.
Senior Triston Brinton, an outside linebacker shared his feelings about the game, “We had some mistakes but we fixed them at half time and ended up executing.” Even though they had some mistakes, it still won them the game. Senior Gavin Poole, a center, also shared how thought the team did, “…good communication, good execution.” Having good communication is very crucial to a big success in football. Brinton and Poole both shared how they are excited for their upcoming Homecoming game because it is a pretty big game that should be filled with lots of fun and school spirit..
The Bulldogs took home a 49-29 win and a trophy. It was a fun night full of bulldog spirit. The team was overjoyed with happiness after the win and taking home a trophy. This Friday, October 3rd at 7:00 PM is the Bulldog’s Homecoming game which will be a lot of fun to watch. So come show your spirit and cheer the Bulldogs on for an exciting game!
