Last Friday, on August 22nd the Choir program hosted their annual “Sing For A Donut Day”. The purpose of this event is to get kids from all grade levels to come into the choir room and sing anything they wanted from the ABC’s to an advanced song of their choice to get a donut in the morning or at lunch. After the donut is given, the choir members hand out flyers to join choir and try to recruit as many people as they can.
Junior Sara Babnic states, “Sing For A Donut Day is such a fun Palisade tradition, even if you aren’t the one participating, seeing other people enjoy this tradition is so fun.” Babnic is completely right. No matter what floats your boat, if you participate or not, it is still such a fun environment to be in. To see everyone around you in a good mood because they’re so excited for this event is so thrilling. It’s the little things that matter when it comes to the Palisade community.
Small things such as this event that the Choir program hosts every year makes such a big difference in everyone’s day. All of us Bulldogs should be grateful for this amazing opportunity to be yourself and find hobbies that fit you. Come and join Choir and don’t be afraid to seize your potential, because every Bulldog has a talent!
