With a great school comes great leaders. Gabrielle Spriggs is one of these leaders, chosen to represent the Student Council as next year’s treasurer.
This is Spriggs first year within StuCo, and she has lived every minute to the fullest. “I like that StuCo gives back to the student body and creates a community at Palisade,” she said. Spriggs already has accounting experience, as she was the sophomore class treasurer this year and was in charge of the sophomore funds. She ran unopposed and was automatically elected as SBA (Student Body Association) treasurer, where she will be in charge of all of StuCo’s money.
“I plan to create more community inside of PHS StuCo and inside the PHS student body,” she exclaimed. Outside of StuCo, Spriggs also is involved in the speech and debate team. Congratulations Gabrielle Spriggs on being elected as next year’s StuCo treasurer, we can’t wait to see the great things you will bring to Palisade next year!
