Palisade High School is proud to announce that senior Berry Antonson has been named Student of the Week, an honor given to students who demonstrate exceptional dedication, growth, and perseverance throughout the semester. Antonson, only the second student to receive this award, has made a significant impact both inside and outside the classroom. Though Antonson tends to work behind the scenes, his commitment to his studies and willingness to assist others have not gone unnoticed. “This year, I put in the extra hard work, really focusing on school,” Antonson shared, “the work was tough but worth it.” His diligence and positive attitude have earned him the respect of both his peers and teachers. Antonson aspires to pursue a secondary education degree in college, and his hard work is laying the foundation for that goal. During his interview, he revealed a key piece of his success: “Sometimes I study at home, but I usually get my work done in school.” His ability to manage his time effectively and balance his academic responsibilities shows a true dedication to success. This recognition serves as an inspiration to other students, proving that with effort and focus, you can thrive in your studies, even if school isn’t always the center of your life. Congratulations, Berry Antonson, for earning Student of the Week!

Yo, I’m Dallas. This is my first year writing for Palisade. I enjoy bull riding, writing and math. When I'm not writing or riding, you can find me watching football or baseball games. I'm excited to start sending out stories for Palisade and let everyone know more about the school. I hope soon enough to start photography for the papers. I can't wait to start writing for you all!
