The Palisade football team does it again! The Bulldogs battled the Steamboat Sailors this past Thursday, October 24th. The game ended with a Palisade win with the score being 50-7. The team has conquered each of this season’s challenges, and has been rising above. The football team has been having an amazing season, their overall now being 7-2. Junior Branson Springer states, “ It was definitely a good win, and was fun to celebrate such a good victory with teammates. I thought that the offensive line did really well, and Easton and the backs did really well.” Branson has been playing football since the fifth grade, and now plays for Palisade as their Varsity quarterback. Springer also mentions, “We have really good chemistry, and get along really well. I think that first touchdown was really great and it got our energy up. It also really just propelled our energy to get us that win.” The Bulldogs express all of the emotions after a good win, and it is quite clear that the bond that they have with each other is unique and unbreakable. As the Palisade football team comes to the end of the season, they will cherish the memories and skills that they have earned this season. Their hard work has definitely been paying off, and they have been showing the best of their ability and the power of their bond. The players have been using these wins to boost their morale. Palisade High School is very excited about the remarkable things that the football team has accomplished this season, and they are ready for amazing things. Great job Palisade Football on the spectacular season!
