Palisade pulls through making their expectation a reality. Having only a couple games will stay make a large difference throughout their season. Losing and winning is always one of the biggest deals in any sport you play, but teamwork is a bigger deal making the teams glad or frustrated about how the game will go. Also having one of the better records through the valley, Palisade makes a come back from some of the games that they has previously lost too or had won too. Not only winning but growing as a team together. Growing as a team means that players also have to put their own effort and interest inside of the game as well. Joseph Kirshchenmann states “We played really well and had the over counter paying strategy”. Being one of the stronger opponents means everyone is scared and worried to play you, Palisade dominates the competition while playing and makes strategies to clear the competitors with ease. Joseph says “ they weren’t playing that well and we took advantage of it very quickly”. As they got a 2 game lead, Palisades team swept them up and finished the game strong making the final game quick and easy for the rest of the team. “I honestly didn’t want them to have a 2 game lead and wanted to close them out as fast as we could”. The varsity team had a couple of great games. Winning the way that they wanted to.
