The Palisade Bulldogs Softball team played against their rival team Central on August 29th at Colorado Mesa University. There was lots of tension between the two schools and very high energy. One of our Seniors that went to Pack The Park, Diego Gallegos said, ¨It was good energy, no one was mad or anything bad about it. It was just fun, all good vibes, everything like that. It was kind of weird because Central and them are like rival teams.” One of the Palisade Bulldog Cheerleaders that was at Pack the Park, Amelia Swygman (Sophomore) said, ¨It was good, I was cheering. The energy was a little dead because there weren’t as many people as last year. A lot of people left because there wasn’t much to do.” One Senior playing the game, Kaci Hoskin, said, “It was a good game, very fun but a tough loss. A lot of tension because it was against Central but that just made me play even harder. I thought it was very nice to hear and see all the football players and cheerleaders doing the chants. To show support and it was very cool.¨
Pack The Park was very fun to come show your support and hangout with your friends. Supporting and cheering our fellow Bulldogs is important and something we take pride in. A Junior that attended, Hunter Howard, said, ¨I thought it was good to see all the other sports programs supporting each others sports program to know we all have each others backs.¨ Coming and showing support in Palisades sports means a lot so come on down and show your pride!
