This Monday, JV had a track meet at Stocker Stadium. Palisades JV track team had a very good meet, with more than half of the runners winning their races. Lee Amsbury, a Freshman on the team said. ” As a team we did very well and it was a great track meet and personally I feel really good about my performance.” Lee ran the 100, 200 and 100×4 relay.”I did really good in all of my races except for the 200.” So far this year the JV track team has performed very well at all of their track events and this one was no different like Lee they all had an exceptional performance this Monday. The other schools that were attending were other schools from around the valley like, Grand junction High School, Delta High School, Moffat county, Montrose High School, North Fork, Olathe High School, Fruita High School and Cedaredge. The main runs that Palisade was hoping to win were their relay races.” Our relay race was okay but it was a good place to start and our next relay will be a lot better,` is what Lee had to say about the relay. As being farther into the season the are only on the rise and we are still hoping to see a lot of improvement from them in the next JV meets. The next meet is this Saturday which is going to be a varsity meet but the next JV meet will be next Monday. We hope to see great runs from our track teams this weekend and more into the season. Go Palisade Bulldogs, run those race
