Powderhorn is opening soon with the temperature dropping below zero during the nights. Grand Junction should be expecting a lot of snow soon and with that comes snowboarding and skiing. Because of this Palisade is selling discounted tickets for Powderhorns Resort. Colorado is expecting an El Nino this year. An El Nino means the fall season will be a lot warmer. Meanwhile, the winter will bring lots of snow meaning it will be a lot colder so make sure to wrap up with plenty of layers of clothes before leaving. Even for the rest of this week, the temperature could reach as low as 29 degrees. With chances of rain on Saturday make sure to bring an umbrella with you if you go anywhere. Powderhorn is the closest snowboarding and skiing resort and it is a lot of fun being able to go.  I’m not sure if I will get a palisade pass this year but going to Powderhorn is really fun and I would highly recommend it for people debating whether to go or not.” If you did not already know Colorado is home to eight of twenty-six Olympians.
