This was my first year being a part of the Palisade Paw Post and I couldn’t have asked for better during my sophomore year. As my first class of the day, this newspaper was always my first priority each morning and I can’t explain how grateful I am for it. It wasn’t just the writing part, for me it was the people involved with the Paw Post. Mallory, Sailor, Hayleigh, Joey, Kodie, Ally, Jaydyn, Angela, Edgar, Joe, Keegan and Mr. Franklin all made this class a fun adventure I was happy to be a part of. This year was full of struggles as we learned to unite as a team while writing stories that audience members would enjoy. We all had to find our niche and I think in the end it was a success. It has overall been a great experience I wouldn’t trade for anything else. Thank you to everyone who let me bring my creativity to life through my writing. Thank you to those that read my weekly movie reviews and my other stories. This class has meant so much to me and has a special place in my heart. Our readers, my fellow writers, and most importantly our advisor Mr. Franklin all helped to make the Paw Post come to life. I can’t wait to see what we bring to life next year as I will happily be taking over the position of the Features editor. But most importantly, thank you to all our sponsors and specifically my sponsor that I recruited to the Palisade Paw Post, J. Dyer Construction. Thank you J. Dyer Construction for buying an advertisement to help support our newspaper and I can’t express my appreciation enough.
