Brett Rozman Commits to Central Arizona
Last week senior Brett Rozman, announced that he made a verbal commitment to go play baseball for Central Arizona starting in the fall of 2023. Brett is a part of the Palisade High School baseball team. Rozman was one of the starting catchers for the Palisade Bulldogs. Last season he helped bring his team to an overall 24-4 winning record and an undefeated league season. He didn’t just help his team behind the plate and finished the season leading the team with a total of twelve home runs. He also finished the season with a fielding average of 0.988. Brett didn’t stop playing when the high school season ended instead he went off and played competitively and worked all summer on bettering himself.
The Central Arizona Vaqueros made Brett an offer to come to play for them in early fall. He has been playing baseball since he could walk. He said “It was just something I picked up very fast, and it just clears my head when I play. His favorite part about playing the sport is the “team aspect, you have to grow a special bond with your team in order to be successful on the field.” He is most excited to be able to have a chance to come home and win a JUCO World Series in his hometown. One thing that he is nervous about with this opportunity is adjusting to the college grind. Rozman has worked very hard to get where he is today. He said, “I put faith into my work I do every day, and it shows on the field.” Rozman has a current pop time of 1.9-1.98. Brett couldn’t be where he is today without his parents, God, and all of his coaches.
