Welcome another SOTW Sophomore Francisco Martinez! As being proud Bulldogs for our school Damon Gilmore (AKA Coach D) chooses a new SOTW.
Martinez is such a hard working student and is always on task and on top of his grades which is why he is such a good pick for SOTW. Not only does he stay on top of his grades, he is a great soccer player and a great team player. Martinez states, “I feel pretty special, honestly not only just getting picked but it’s a certain thing everyone deserves to be chosen for this.” This is showing Martinez’s emotions about how every student should deserve to be called SOTW.
Martinez then states “Just keep up the good work and keep up with it and eventually you’ll make it” This shows how Martinez keeps us students at Palisade be seen as a hardworking community. Being chosen SOTW doesn’t just mean having the good grades and being a role model in class but being kind to the Palisade High School community to the students and teachers. Being kind and respectful to our community shows others how we Bulldogs not only care about academics but showing how kindness goes a long way! Martinez says “Im friendly, I don’t see having a problem with teachers they are always great and are there to help you, so I think you should just try and help them also by being a good student.” Martinez doesn’t only talk about being kind to teachers but also students. “Me being only a Sophomore be nice to the lower classmen because being a good person doesn’t cost anything.” Martinez states. Students like Martinez show how us Bulldogs are a kind and loving community and why we are proud Palisade High School students!
