This week the Bulldogs boys basketball played against Glenwood Springs on wednesday january 29th, and absolutely crushed it on their win. They worked hard and kicked butt the whole game ending with the score 61-50. This game showed a lot of hard work and love the team has for their team.
Palisade senior Julian Garza plays point guard on Varsity, Garza has been playing basketball since freshman year and has only grown since then. Wednesday’s game was good for the Bulldogs. According to Garza “This game showed a lot of spirit and hard work for the team.” They had a good win and can only grow more from here. This game showed a lot on how the team works together and had good chemistry through the game and season. As Garza states “since the start the team has really grown together and I think this game proved it.”
Even though this game was tough and Gelenwood had a hold on it at the start, the team came back with that bulldog spirit and got the win in the end. There was a lot of hard work on the court for that game and the whole team but as Garza explained there is one person who is the heart of the team Junior Hunter Howerd. “Hunter for sure he is everywhere every play whenever we need him on or off the court.”
Can’t wait to see what the rest of this season looks like good luck Bulldogs! Make sure to support our team and go watch them play, and give lots of spirit to them through the rest of the season!
