What a better way to start volleyball on a sunny afternoon with the gym buzzing with excitement. The sound of sneakers squeaking on the polished floor and the thud of the volleyball being passed around set the stage for what promised to be an unforgettable game, Sabrina Landon tightening her ponytail and taking a deep breath ,ready to lead her team to
victory. “I’m excited for the senior season that we have to give. We have a really great team and I think we are really competitive so it’s going to be fun to see what we have to give for this season” Palisade volleyball has a lot to give when it comes to competition and how long you’ve been playing for. “I have been playing in total since I was 8 years old, maybe a little bit younger but I enjoy it alot” A lot of expectations come when playing a sport and having a good coach. “ Wendy, our head coach and our assistant coach, Kate, does an amazing job of holding us to a really high standard and making sure everyone is giving their all, all of the time hustling and being there for each other as well. Team culturing teamwork is a very big thing in our program and spreads throughout our JV and C teams as well and i think that makes us come together really well as a community and reflects on the court.”
Strength and weaknesses is a big thing because it can affect on how you play “ We have a amazing offense accordingly team but in all around i think that we are really really strong and everyone conserved multiple rules many around it we hope to improve this season on defense and keeping our rallies lasting longer just earning more point and playing our game throughout the entire view of patches.”
