While people are getting excited for the football season, we have the awesome Palisade cheerleaders getting ready for the upcoming season. Ready to cheer on our Palisade Bulldogs, our dedicated cheerleaders bring the spirit. As the season is starting the cheerleaders have been working hard during their morning practices from 4 to 7, ready to show off all they’ve been practicing such as stunt, cheers, and tumbling.
Jennie Stout is the new assistant coach for the girls and she has been helping a lot. Emily Chavez is a Junior and this is her first year of cheerleading says “Ms. Stout has been a lot of help making practices go a lot smoother.” Chavez adds, “Everybody is really excited and happy to be there and everyone is really energetic and fun.” Sounds like the cheerleaders are going to have a great season with all the confidence they bring.
“I’m really excited for football games and homecoming week,” Chavez said. Homecoming week and football is soon and the cheerleaders are getting really excited for it to show off everything they have been practicing at the assemblies and football games. The cheerleaders are working hard. Chavez said, “Practices have been rough but we will get through it.” Through all these hard practices and determination, our Palisade cheerleaders will come to the top and make it a show for all Palisade students.
