Palisade High School’s musical cast members recently gathered for a delightful picnic at Riverbend Park, a tradition that fosters camaraderie and unity among the talented performers. The picnic not only provided a fun-filled day but also offered an opportunity to hear from one of the cast members, Teagan Brannan, about the experience and his hopes for this year’s production of White Christmas. Teagan Brannan, a member of the musical cast, shared his thoughts about the event: “I think that cast choices were amazing, Ms. V and Mr. Doty have always made great choices, and the picnic was so fun. It was great to interact with some people I hadn’t met before. I wish more of the cast could have come, but that’s alright. My hopes for White Christmas this year are that we are able to get a lot of community involvement.” Teagan’s perspective on the cast choices highlights the trust and admiration for the directors, V and Doty. According to Teagan, “V and Doty have always made great choices,” emphasizing the importance of casting in a successful production. He further expressed, “The picnic was so fun. It was great to interact with some people I hadn’t met before.” These interactions at Riverbend Park undoubtedly enhanced the sense of affinity among the cast members, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. Teagan’s wish for increased community involvement in the production of White Christmas is a testament to the cast’s desire to share their artistic talents with a wider audience. As he stated, “My hopes for White Christmas this year are that we are able to get a lot of community involvement.” This aspiration reflects the cast’s commitment to enriching the cultural life of the Palisade community.
