On September 9th, Palisade High School is going to host a drive-in movie night. Grab a blanket, snacks, and a best friend, and pull up to the Palisade High School parking lot on Friday, September 9th!

Palisade is hosting a drive-in movie in the Palisade High School parking lot for every student at Palisade High. They will be showing either Legally Blonde or Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Stuco member and senior, Olivia Langner, says, “The drive-in is where we project a movie onto the side of a building and everyone can come in their cars, and if you can’t drive you can be dropped off and sit in the grass with your friends. We will have food and it will be a good time!”

Amazing events like the drive-in have a lot of effort put into them so that everyone can have the best experience possible. Olivia says “The first drive-in took a lot longer to plan, but now that we have done more of them it doesn’t take as long. We just have to make sure we have the right equipment, have the movie downloaded, and get the word out to everyone in the school.”

For old and new students, these events are great for making new friends, connecting with old ones, and most of all having a good time. Olivia was asked how important it is for students to get involved in these types of events. She says “It’s super important because this is when we get to spend time with our friends and get to know new people and make good memories in high school.”

Come out to the Palisade High School parking lot on September 9th  for an amazing time making amazing memories!
