For Palisade High School’s Softball team, their last softball game was a hard won victory, with changing scores and being away from their home field. The softball game against Delta High School started out good, and hit an abrupt turn when they were suddenly losing. With Palisade High School spirit, they were able to come back and win with a score of 18-11. After this game, players came back to school ready for their next game against Cedaredge on Thursday, the 21st. One of the team’s best batting players, a senior here at Palisade High School Madi Gray says, “I absolutely love my teammates. It’s definitely different this year since it’s a whole new group of girls compared to my freshman year, but that’s what makes it exciting. I really enjoy stepping into that Senior role and being a leader they can look up to and strive to be like. They’re all young, eager to learn, and full of potential, and that’s my favorite part, seeing their growth and knowing I can help guide them along the way.” Gray feels like this will be a good winning season because of the team’s work ethic and dedication to showing up to every practice. With Palisade’s strong team full of amazing people, good players, and strong leaders, it is clear that they can take down Cedaredge, Delta and anyone else they will face today, or any day!

Ronix Lundberg, STAFFWRITER
Hi, I’m Ronix Lundberg and I’m a freshman. This is my first year writing for Palisade Paw Post so I’m excited to start. Some hobbies I have are all the sports, camping, being outdoors, videogames, wakeboarding, playing with family, and four wheeling. My favorite food is orange chicken and this year I will be playing basketball and baseball at Palisade. Something really important to me is my family and my religion.
