Kicking off the Season

The Palisade boys soccer team begins the year with energy focus and determination. As we all settled into the new school year, the Palisade Bulldog soccer players began to take the field with sharpened skills and renewed determination. Practices started early this month with conditioning, ball control drills, and strategy sessions to set the tone for a competitive season. Now, the team enters the season with confidence. Returning players bring experience from last year, while new teammates step up to fill key roles. Sophomore Francisco Martinez states “ I feel like the team has really prepared this year by pushing ourselves past the standards and having great communication on and off the field.” He also stated “Our biggest goal this year is going 500 average throughout the season.” Getting ready for the first game is already in motion. Scrimmages and practice games help players figure out their positions and try out different strategies. Coaches are still adjusting the lineup and figuring out what works best across the field. Even though no official games have been played yet, the tone’s already set for what could be a really strong season. The team spirit is already high, with support coming from students and families. Each practice feels more important than the last, as the team works toward being game-ready as their first game is August 22nd. Now that the season’s officially getting started, your Bulldogs varsity soccer seems focused, well-prepared, and ready to go after wins.
