Palisade Paw Post is proud to announce Junior Karizma Woodard as Female Student of the Week. She has been an amazing Bulldog and represents Palisade High School in a great way. Woodard works hard in class and is such a joyful person to be around. She puts in so much effort in being good Bulldog, never failing to put a smile on her friend’s and teacher’s faces. Woodard loves being in band and has done it since freshman year, using it as a way to express herself in other ways she can’t. Woodard also uses it as an opportunity to think of just band in the moment, not anything else. Woodard always bring a positive attitude to anything even when its negative. Woodard states, “I feel awesome that I won Student of the Week because it has never happened before and I just feel grateful I did. Advice I would give to someone who is working towards this as a goal is to really have a positive mindset. It makes things a little easier. Having a good positive attitude changes everything and eventually everything falls into place. I think what helped me achieve this goal is my mom definitely she raised me to be be who I am and supports me and my teachers they push me to always be a better person. Advice I would give to upcoming freshman is to try everything you possibly can. You never know what you’re going to love and it opens so many opportunities for you to meet new people.” Congratulations Karizma Woodard!
