We are kicking off this last quarter back from break with the ultimate senior assassination, a fun and exciting game for seniors before graduation. You can participate in the game during your senior year. This is the first year Palisade High School is playing and many students from all different grades are excited to do it in the future
A student that is participating in senior assassin is Sedona Zoobi and she states, “I think senior assassin is really fun. I recommend participation.” Already, 23 seniors have been assassinated and it’s getting more and more intense for those who are still in. Some seniors have been playing it safe and using their immunity to their advantage. Since this is in fact Palisade’s first year doing something like senior assassin, many seniors are very happy they get to experience this before graduating like senior Brielle Sorensen. She says, “It’s nice to have an option like senior assassin to take my mind off of scholarships and school stresses. It’s something I am happy we are doing now.”
The seniors I have talked to agree that it’s scary to be on edge the whole week and watch their backs, but agree it’s worth it and something exciting to do. Even if you don’t think it’s something you would like to do when you’re a senior and this story has not convinced you, whoever wins gets a $620 cash prize! It’s always good to have some strategies for playing and according to Sorensen, “staying on the down low is just basically all you can really do” Stay tuned for what happens next with our senior assassins!
