The Palisade Paw Post is happy to announce this week’s Student of the Week is Evan Edwards and it came as no surprise to anyone who knows him. He is a force to be reckoned with, especially in the school theater program. Outgoing and full of energy, Edwards thrives on stage. Whether he’s playing a flamboyant character or a serious role, he owns every performance with passion and confidence that left the audience captivated. But what makes Edwards truly stand out isn’t just his talent, but his enthusiasm. He has an infectious energy that motivates the entire cast and crew. During rehearsals, he is always the first to suggest a new idea, often encouraging his peers to push their boundaries and take risks. Edwards states, “My favorite part of Palisade is their performing arts development.” Evan loves making everyone feel included, whether it is helping a nervous actor with their lines or leading a warm-up game to get the group energized. Edwards also stated, “ I plan on becoming a professional musician or a music teacher.” Edwards was also given an opportunity to attend the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Even offstage, Edwards personality is larger than life. He has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome, always quick to strike up a conversation and bring a smile to people’s faces. His laughter is contagious, and it is impossible not to be swept up in his positive attitude. All of us at the Paw Post would like to congratulate Edwards on such a reward and we can only hope for his success in college.
