Palisade Paw Post is proud to announce Freshman Esperanza Gonzalez as Female Student Of The Week. She has shown exceptional kindness to all the people around her, and she is a light to be around. She is fond of many other activities outside of school that include basketball and especially playing soccer. While in school she very much enjoys algebra, as it being her favorite subject.
Mrs. Darnell states, “I chose Espy because she works hard in all her classes, advocates for herself when she needs help, and constantly pushes herself toward success; even though she may struggle, she doesn’t give up. She shows she is a role model because she always comes to class ready to learn. She helps the people around her when they need help and has no problem doing so.”
Gonzalez says, “I am very surprised I won Female Student of the Week but overall I am grateful I did though. I set a role model example because I help people in class and show them how to do thing on homework when they feel stuck. The advice I would give someone to get this award is too definitely be kind always because you never know what someone is struggling with so always be kind. My biggest role model is Mrs.Neibla because she is just an amazing person in general.” Congratulations Esperanza on Student of the Week!
