This week Palisade Paw Post has nominated Junior Jesus Marquez also know as “Chuy” as Male Student of the Week. In Mr. Moore’s class he has shown hard work, effort, positive attitude, and growth while starting later than other students in his class.
Mr. Moore states “Chuy is very hard working student, he came into my so class late I was worried, he put in a lot of work and caught up and came up with a really awesome project. He shows he is a role model because he has such a positive attitude about all the suggestions that I gave him with all of his artwork. He is very coachable kid so he would ask me questions when he had questions, and then I came to him with an answer, he would take that into consideration and put it into his work.¨ Marquez states “In my free I like to play basketball and also play my guitar those are my go to. My favorite class in school is art even though I have not been in it for to long I really enjoy it because I can express myself through my art. When I found out I won this award I was very surprised because I have only been in Mr.Moore’s class for a week or two. I feel I set as a role model because I put in effort, positive attitude, active listener and Im pretty funny.” In our Student of The Week we love when students are great and show HEART.
