What’s up Bulldogs! Since we’re sneaking closer into Halloween, Palisade is having a spirit week between October 28th through November 1st. It’s been a while since our last spirit week so giddy up students and contribute to the High School spirit. Also give a big thanks to all stuCo members who got the idea to give students a chance to vote on what they wanted for our upcoming spirit week. stuCo member Gabrielle Springs says, “Palisade hasn’t done that before, in where we let students pick their own spirit days for spirit week, but when I ran to be on the student council, I did it so that I could get more student involvement and this was one of the first things I’ve just decided to do.” This was stuCo’s first time in taking in recommendation from other students and basing the week on the most popular vote to determine what our Spirit days will be. This is such a fun thing to do especially since it involves all of Palisade High School.
So without further ado here are your spirit days: Monday we have Anything but a Backpack day, Tuesday is White Lies, Wednesday is Somewhere in the Green (Wear Green or Florals to support PHS Theatre), Thursday we have Group Costume Day, and finally Friday is Pajama Day. So show your support in this upcoming spirit week and just have fun dressing up and showing your school spirit.
