The Denver Broncos’ biggest rivalry is the Las Vegas Raiders which has been a hard competitor for the Broncos to beat. So one can only imagine the excitement of fans, players, and coaches when the team beat them after four years, even with the Raiders having a eight game winning streak over them. The Denver fans were filled with excitement and joy. There isn’t a never better feeling than your team winning. Big Broncos fan Senior Joseph Zambrano says “I think the Broncos looked really good this game. Javonte Williams looked like his rookie form and Bo Nix looked like a real quarterback this game with two passing touch downs. Our defense is one of the best in the NFL and its a good feeling being able to count on them for a stop or a turnover.” First quarter wasn’t looking up for the Broncos with the Raiders making a 57 yard touchdown by Brock Bowers and a field goal. Denver did not let them score again during first quarter with a tight defense. Second quarter was their quarter comeback with scoring two field goals and one 100 yard interception return touchdown by Patrick Surtain. Third quarter it was already looking good with the score Las Vegas 10, Denver 20. The time is left with 6 minutes and 24 seconds when Jaleel McLaughlin got a four yard pass that scored them another touchdown. The last and final quarter when the pressure is high to win, two touchdowns one by Josh Reynolds and another by Bo Nix this put Broncos in a great spot knowing the Raiders couldn’t catch up. Only four minutes left and the Raiders scored a touchdown by Ameer Abudullah with a three yard run, that didn’t give Las Vegas the points they needed and their streak ended. The final score was Las Vegas 18, Denver 34.
