The volleyball girls spike the crowd with their awesome skills. On September 5,the girls went to their 5th game in Delta bringing the confidence as they entered. The game against Delta was a smooth game. The girls did well, beating Delta ( 3-0 ). Palisade Volleyball went into this game with 2 wins out of 4 of their games, they’ve beaten Grandview ( 3-1) and Cherry Creek (2-0).That’s a good way to start the season with three excellent wins.
The girls had really good communication and good concentration during their sets; they scored 25 points each set. Lili Taylor is a junior and she’s been playing volleyball for 4 years. Her position is libero. “Not letting the other team not have many runs on points and working on middle and rotation as a team. The girls going into this game had many goals for themselves and they definitely achieved them with the good teamwork they bring on the court and focus. ” says Taylor.
Sarah Foster is a senior. She has been playing for four years. She plays outside and right side hitter. “Our team has a good group dynamic and we have been training really hard all summer. ” says Foster. All the hard work they put in during practice has paid off for sure and it shows. “I’m excited to make memories with the team,” Foster adds. The team is making great memories with these victories and volleyball is all about having fun and our Palisade girls volleyball team always has fun and shows that at every game.
