Vinyl Revival, a new addition to Palisade’s many local businesses, has come to help us relive the old glory days. Vinyl Revival is a vinyl record store with music from the 70’s and 80’s to help us kick back to some great times and even some better parties.
The small shop was opened on April 12, 2024 by the Dinomart by Matthew Starbuck. He explained: “I was looking for a little place to open shop, and when one opened up here in Palisade it was great because I live down the road [interstate 70, away from Grand Junction].” Matt took an open store in Palisade, and that quickly turned into the experience of a lifetime for him and a re-experience of a lifetime for us.
While Vinyl Revival does sell vinyl records like a normal shop, its small interior contains more than may be evident at a glance. “I refurbish and clean vinyl to sell, and I also refurbish vinyl players and can also buy and trade some vinyl, so my shop size here is perfect.” Matt has created an amazing opportunity so you can listen to vinyl whether you have a working player or not, and if you get bored with some records you are able to get new selections.
Vinyl Revival is a fairly small store confined between Dinomart and Diorio’s, but Matt said: “This is the perfect size for a little vinyl shop in an amazing town.” Again, Palisade’s local opportunities have created an amazing opening for Matt, and has let us all take a little of the past with us into the future.
