Palisade students have a way of thinking that admins don’t do anything but scold kids and make students spend their lunch time doing work. But they actually benefit us and our school in many ways that we students don’t acknowledge, like keeping the environment safe and secure and handling the budgets, and also having construction sites around the palisade for safety and security. Palisade students have been eager to know more information about the construction and what the Palisade administration is doing to benefit our school and students.
Matt Borgman, the Assistant Principal of Palisade High school gives updates around the school and he states, “ I think we just got word today that the vestibule will be done by Monday, so I think that we can start moving things on Friday. Then actually being in the new room Monday to pend computers and fire alarms.” This will bring more security and could possibly have an educational impact on Palisade students.
Palisade’s community also has been keeping admins busy with Panorama surveys that students took last week, making sure Bulldogs are being well taken care of outside and inside of school. Students think that Panorama surveys don’t matter and don’t change anything for our school but it actually has many benefits in our school’s community. Borgman states, “A lot of Panorama’s surveys are for the well being, and safety of students, and we go through as a district team and as a school team through all the information and make sure students have trusted adults, they feel safe, comfortable, and being well fed at home.”
Palisade students thank our Administration team who put in a lot of work for our school and making sure our school is secure, and safe while also keeping the school organized and educational.
